Spoof or scam e-mails are sadly common these days. Although they are becoming increasingly sophisticated, there are still a few ways that you can check if they’re real:

1. Were you expecting to receive an attachment from this sender? If it’s totally unexpected, it’s worth checking with them first!
2. If you hover over links in the e-mail, do they go to the correct website? e.g. https://www.paypal.com/uk/e-mails not https://www.rusure.pl/paypal/hi23/

Never open attachments or click on links within e-mails unless you’re completely sure they are safe.

This is a very common accident!

1. Switch the device off immediately, remove the battery and disconnect any power cables or chargers.
2. Turn the laptop upside down and mop up the residual liquid with a lint free paper towel or cloth.
3. Lay it upside down on a dry surface. A large bag of rice in an airing cupboard is ideal because it will soak up the liquid.
4. Call us as soon as possible! We can often salvage data from water damaged machines.
